I have a 12 yr old 2 bike rack and the tie downs finally wore out. I emailed with customer service and with her help and the ease of the website I successfully ordered. Received, and fixed all 4 of them. Great experience!
Went on easy. Pretty much like the original ones. I hope that the buckles hold up for a while. Little expensive to replace all but I had three break over the years.
My rack gets lots of wear and these cradle straps never come loose. But they do wear and need replacement from time to time. Glad that Allen still carries these for a reasonable price.
Rack should only be used on vehicles where it can be properly mounted as described in instructions included with product. Fit list applies only to installation of Allen Trunk Racks on standard vehicle models in original and non-customized condition (no after-market spoilers, external spare tires, etc.).
Racks should never be used on any type of trailer or the front of vehicle.
