I got the single-child (AS-1) model in June, 2020. Recommendations: 1) Before you do anything to assemble the trailer, try putting the hitch part on your bike. If you have a rack or fenders, it might not fit. Don't wait until you've assembled the trailer to check this. 2) The instructions they sent with my trailer were flat-out wrong (they probably redesigned the trailer and didn't change the instructions). I checked with Customer Service - all that stuff about different parts ("window tubes") on left and right, and dire warnings of death and disaster if you mix them up, are bogus. If your parts aren't marked Left and Right, you can install them on either side in safety. If it hadn't been for the incorrect instructions, and the fact that I had to remove the rack and fender from my bike, assembly would have been pretty quick. The trailer itself has worked out well. It works surprisingly well in stroller mode, too, but if you're going to use it a LOT as stroller, you might want to gets some longer bolts and add some spacers between the handle and the frame. The handle isn't spaced out far enough from the trailer and it's easy to kick the lower part of the frame as you walk.
I could not be happier with this combo 2-child trailer-stroller from Allen Sports. First, the color is super-bright (for safety) and looks really nice. My daughter loves looking out the oversized windows when she's being towed or pushed, and there's lots of room for her and her toys. The frame seems sturdy, and I'm glad that Allen didn't use plastic wheels, as I've heard that these are not as durable as metal wheels.
My trailer cover for this came ripped! I got it from Walmart and would like to purchase a new cover. How do I do this?
Hi - please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we should be able to assist. Please let them know which model you have.
The 2-child trailer and stroller comfortably fits my two-year-old twins, and has given our family a whole new way to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Converting it to a stroller is a breeze, and has been a lifesaver when we arrive at the park and the little guys are sound asleep.
Easy to install, easy to use
