Tough Bike Rack

The bike rack was easy to build and install. Added a couple of Velcro fasteners around Frame and rear tire, frame and front tire. Also added pipe insulation with zip ties around main vertical bar, and fastened the bike with Velcro around both. Traveled to out of town college and the bike didn't budge. As always, its difficult to push the round pin in far enough to remove the bike rack from the hitch. Create a tool for this Allen! Would buy again.

Deluxe+quick install 5 bike rack

Excellent product! After comparing Thule and Yakima racks, Allen was by far the clear choice. Not only Allen is considerably cheaper, ($200-$300 less in some instances) but it’s also more solidly built product. There is NOTHING flimsy about this rack. Unlike the most competitors, there is essentially no plastic on this rack, it’s all steels. Quick hitch is easily adjustable for zero wobble which is huge. The use-ability of the 5th rack is a little questionable. Being located behind the rack post, (so very, very close to your vehicle) makes it a little hairy to load. I wouldn’t suggest using unless possibly for a child’s bike and using some type of padding to prevent scratching. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and have no doubt it will last decades.

This thing is ANAZING.

I got the quick EVERYTHING even though it was a little more expensive. It is incredibly easy to attach, detach and use. It’s a bit heavy but not too bad. I absolutely recommend this rack.
